74 Million Americans Lack Meaningful Access to Dental Care4

Students lose more than 34 million school hours every year to untreated oral health issues. Gentrification and public health shifts, including recent policy changes affecting fluoride, are widening care disparities at precisely the moment communities need more access, not less.

Traditional brick-and-mortar practices are structurally constrained by geography, infrastructure, and payer mix. Portable dentistry removes those constraints entirely.

You know what you are building and why it matters. We exist to help you get there, because the next generation of game-changing companies will be life-changing companies.

Rising Overhead

Traditional practices face 58–65% overhead rates that compress margins and limit reinvestment in growth.

Geographic Limits

Fixed infrastructure ties care delivery to specific locations, leaving entire communities without access.

Workforce Shortages

Burnout, scheduling complexity, and administrative burden are driving providers out of traditional settings.

Reimbursement Pressure

Payer mix challenges and margin compression make Medicaid and underserved populations financially unsustainable for most practices.

Our Story

The story of Go Oral Health begins nearly five decades ago. In 1979, Dr. Mark J. Doherty Sr. founded Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services in Massachusetts with a simple, powerful conviction: dental care should come to the people who need it most.

CMOHS has since delivered more than 3 million oral health services across Massachusetts, serving more than 300 sites in over 75 communities statewide, from Head Start programs and public schools to communities historically underserved by Medicaid. In September 2024, that legacy was recognized by Group Dentistry Now with its Emerging Dental Groups to Watch award.

Go Oral Health is the national scaling of a model that has worked, quietly and powerfully, for nearly fifty years. We are not theorizing. We are extending what works.

My father built something extraordinary with Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services. He proved that portable dentistry, done right, changes lives and communities. Go Oral Health is the next chapter of that story, built to take what we proved in Massachusetts and bring it to every community in this country that needs it.

Built for Every Stage of the Portable Journey

Go Oral Health serves four distinct audiences with purpose-built solutions, from the independent dentist building a first mobile practice to the national DSO expanding its community footprint.

01

Independent Portable & Mobile Practice Owners

Full Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, giving independent portable dentists access to the same economies of scale, operational systems, and infrastructure previously available only to large DSOs.

  • Revenue cycle management and payer navigation
  • Scheduling, logistics, and multi-site deployment
  • Compliance and regulatory guidance
  • Capital formation and growth strategy
  • National partner networks and preferred vendor pricing
02

DSOs Expanding Their Portable Footprint

Infrastructure, clinical protocols, and operational systems to efficiently expand portable service lines or offload non-core care segments such as Medicaid, geriatric, pediatric overflow, or special needs.

  • Turnkey portable service line launch and integration
  • White-labeled or branded program development
  • Medicaid navigation and payer contracting
  • Acquisition and M&A support
  • Operational playbooks proven across decades
03

Schools & School Systems

Complete program infrastructure for bringing preventive and restorative oral health care directly to students, closing the most persistent gap in school-based health delivery. Built on 47 years of school-based delivery.

  • Full program design, launch, and ongoing management
  • Parental consent, scheduling, and communication systems
  • Medicaid billing and payer navigation
  • Completion-of-care tracking and referral coordination
  • Safe, ethical standards built on decades of experience
04

Senior Living, Employers & Community Organizations

Clinical quality and program infrastructure for populations that traditional dental practices cannot reach: assisted living, employer campuses, Head Start programs, military and VA centers, and municipality partnerships.

  • Assisted living and memory care communities
  • Employer campuses and workforce wellness
  • Military and VA centers
  • Head Start and early childhood programs
  • Municipality partnerships

Keep Your Independence. Gain the Back Office of a National DSO.

Most portable and mobile providers carry the full weight of the business alone. Billing, credentialing, scheduling, compliance, and growth all land on the same person delivering the care. We take that weight off, so you can focus on patients instead of paperwork.

Independent portable dentists and registered dental hygienists built this field, but they have rarely had access to the infrastructure that makes large groups profitable. The result is talented clinicians spending nights on claims, denials, and consent forms rather than on care.

Go Oral Health gives you the full Business Process Outsourcing platform that national DSOs use, without asking you to sell, merge, or surrender control. You keep your name, your patients, and your clinical judgment. We run the operating system behind you.

Built on 47 years of portable delivery, our systems are designed for care that moves. We handle the revenue cycle, payer navigation, logistics, and compliance so a single-chair operation can perform like a multi-site group from day one.

Revenue You Keep

Our providers average more than $4,000 in collections per clinical day, with overhead near 35 percent against an industry average of 58 to 65 percent. Better systems, not harder hours.

Logistics Handled

Consent collection, route planning, equipment, and site coordination run on infrastructure proven across hundreds of locations, so your day is clinical from start to finish.

Room to Grow

When you are ready to add chairs, providers, or sites, we bring the capital strategy and operating playbooks to scale on your terms and timeline.

Launch a Portable Service Line Without Building It From Scratch.

Portable care is the fastest-growing access channel in dentistry, and the hardest to build internally. We give established groups a turnkey way to add it, expand it, or offload the segments that strain their fixed-site model.

Building a portable program in-house means new logistics, new compliance exposure, new payer contracts, and a clinical model your operations were never designed to run. Most groups stall before they reach scale, and the populations that need care most stay unreached.

Go Oral Health delivers a complete portable service line as infrastructure. We launch it branded or white-labeled, integrate it with your existing operations, and run the segments that drag on a fixed-site footprint, including Medicaid, geriatric, pediatric overflow, and special needs.

The result is a new access channel and a new revenue line that protect your core margins rather than competing with them. You extend reach and community standing while we carry the operational load.

Turnkey Launch

Clinical protocols, logistics, staffing models, and payer contracts arrive as a system, not a project plan. Stand up a portable line in a fraction of the time and risk of building alone.

Margin Without Overhead

Offload the low-margin, high-complexity segments to a model engineered for them, and recover chair time and capacity inside your fixed sites.

Carve-Out and M&A Support

Backed by HealthStream Ventures, we support diligence, integration, and structuring when portable expansion is part of a larger transaction or platform strategy.

Bring Care to the People Who Cannot Come to You.

Schools, senior living communities, Head Start sites, employers, and municipalities serve populations that traditional dental offices structurally cannot reach. We supply the clinical program and the infrastructure to close that gap, and to prove it closed.

Across the country, 74 million Americans lack meaningful access to dental care. Children miss an estimated 34 million school hours each year to untreated oral disease, and seniors in assisted living often go years without a dental visit. The need is rarely about willingness. It is about reach.

Go Oral Health brings complete program infrastructure directly to where these populations already are. We design, launch, and manage the program, handle parental consent and family communication, navigate Medicaid and program funding, and coordinate the referrals that turn a screening into finished treatment.

Built on 47 years of school-based and community delivery, our model is measured by completion of care, not just visits. We track outcomes so your stakeholders, funders, and families can see the difference the program makes.

Completion of Care

Screenings are only the start. We coordinate restorative follow-up and referrals so children and seniors finish treatment, and we track it from access to completion.

Consent and Coordination

Parental consent, scheduling, family communication, and site logistics run on systems refined over decades of community delivery, ethically and at scale.

Funding and Billing

We navigate Medicaid, grant funding, and value-based reporting so the program is sustainable for your organization and the community it serves.
